Think we might be a good fit?
So I've heard it said that Spirit doesn't call the qualified, but rather qualifies the called. Well, I definitely feel called to do the work that I do. And to that end, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge my "Honorary Doctorate" from the "School of Hard Knocks." I draw from over 25 years of my own personal therapeutic journey as well as my experience as a recovering person. People often say that I bring a dynamic combination of insight, compassion, and outrageous humor into all my sessions. Likewise, it is always my aim to infuse mindfulness and the power of rigorous truth into everything I do.
I received a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University (2017) and subsequently attained my Illinois state license as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor). Additionally, I received extensive training in addictive and compulsive behaviors through the Addiction Studies program at Harold Washington
College. And to top it all off, I have been a spiritual seeker for most of my life. In fact, I even became licensed as a Spiritual Practitioner through United Centers for Spiritual Living. At the end of the day, it is because of my education, training and life experience that I am confident I can provide services that are professional and grounded in universal spiritual principles and truth.
