Thomas Nedderman Counseling, PLLC

Therapy & Counseling
What story are you telling yourself? We all have stories about our lives. In fact, we create those stories and become very attached to them. We tell them over and over again and indeed live them over and over again, often without even realizing it. We just keep wondering why life keeps throwing us the same negative experiences.

In therapy and clinical counseling, we identify the patterns and beliefs that hinder your ability to express and experience good by using your very own and very personal story. It's those stories of lack and limitation, pain, negativity, and being a victim that take us out of alignment with our true nature which is always and only whole, perfect and complete. My job as a therapist is to know your wholeness and to help you to know it too.

So, let me help you rewrite the story and learn to be in relationship to "what happened or what's happening" in a new and more conscious way. By keeping one ear on the story and the other ear on Spirit, I intuitively bring you into the present moment where anything is possible. And what better way to be in life than feeling full of possibility!

Recovery Coaching
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? As a recovering person myself, I know first hand how intense and challenging it can be to let go of the drink or drug or behaviors that once packed a pretty powerful punch. And if you're like me, that punch always ends up knocking us right out of that game called life!
Recovery coaching includes a variety of methods to support you in your journey to clean, sober and healthy living. Depending on your needs, recovery coaching often includes one on one spiritual counseling, private coaching as well as support from accountability groups. Together, and in community, we identify strategies to aid you in managing the cravings and underlined issues that contribute to your addictive / compulsive behaviors.

The good news is that it's NOT about the drink or drug! And the truth is when you take away the drink, drug or whatever it is . . . you'll find that we've all got the same stinking thinking. We will explore that thinking together.

Personal Coaching
Awareness, action and accountability are the three key components in a coaching relationship. The story that we tell about ourselves serves as the catalyst for awareness because it informs us about our beliefs and how they out picture as our experience. Once we have gained some awareness and identified a thought pattern or belief system, then we can create an action plan based on those areas that resonate with you or areas in which you feel resistance. In short, practicing what resonates or taking action around an area of resistance is what creates an actual shift in your experience. The last piece, accountability, is where I hold your feet to the fire and support you in fulfilling your commitment to practice and action. Are you ready to be coached to success?

Accountability Groups
Currently, there are two groups offered. These accountability and/or support groups address ordinary and not so ordinary problems by blending universal spiritual principles with a variety of therapeutic methods as well as 12-Step philosophy. In a supportive, confidential and solution oriented environment, we uncover the beliefs that are creating your current way of being and apply these spiritual and therapeutic technologies to generate a new and affirming life experience.
SHIFT is an open group where all are welcome. While there is no formal commitment, it is highly recommended to set clear and strong intentions to regular attendance in order to achieve an optimal experience. SHIFT is action oriented and explores, in a general way, those behaviors that cause chaos and confusion in our daily life. Confidentiality is required.
LIVING IN THE SOLUTION is a closed group experience that requires a commitment to regular attendance and participation. Space is limited. Here, members are ready and willing to dive deep in order to create new ways of being in relationship to the challenges that life brings. Addictive and compulsive behaviors are discussed openly. As is the case in all groups, confidentiality is not only crucial but required.
The power of group work provides the accountability and structure that you need in order to make the changes that you seek. Through the experience, strength, and hope of others in the group you will identify strategies to aid you in building a healthy and vibrant way of thriving in life. The bottom line is that we always recover from what ails us in relationship to others who are recovering from the same things. This is your opportunity to heal yourself through healing others.
